Your learning, your information.
Operator review required before production. This is a proposed privacy notice, not a claim of legal compliance.
What the application stores
Your Clerk account identifier, preferred name, optional age bracket, learning preferences, goals, progress, prompts, attempts and project submissions. No date of birth, employer name or diagnosis is requested. Use synthetic data in all exercises.
Why and who can access it
Learning data personalises teaching and records outcomes. Your private records are scoped to your account. Trusted administrators review projects and assessment outcomes. Clerk handles authentication; your managed database provider stores learning records. The operator must document its identity, lawful basis, processors and international transfers before launch.
Device storage and offline use
Browser storage keeps theme preferences, invitation snooze and user-reported install status. Account-wide invitation dismissal is saved in the database. No fingerprinting is used. Private learning data is not cached by the service worker.
Export, deletion and retention
Use Profile & preferences to export or delete learning records. Clerk account deletion is managed separately. Proposed retention is active account life plus 12 months of inactivity, with backup expiry within 35 days. A protected retention job is implemented but disabled until the operator approves the period, schedules it and documents any legal exceptions.
Contact and rights
The operator must supply a verified privacy contact, controller details, rights process, complaint route and final retention schedule before publication. Optional live practice sends only the explicitly confirmed synthetic/sanitised practice prompt to an approved provider; it does not attach your age or learning profile. It is disabled by default. The operator must identify that processor before enabling it.
